Supporting Box of Hope
January 9, 2017
Crown Logistics has supported Box of Hope’s CSR events as logistics service provider since 2015.
This year, Crown Logistics has delivered nearly 1,000 gift boxes to children in need. We’ve picked up gift boxes from seven collection points across Hong Kong – Sha Tin, Fo Tan, Tsing Yi, Tai Po, Wong Chuk Hang, Aberdeen, Ap Lei Chau and delivered to the event site in Central in November last year.
This year we have surpassed our goal of 25,000 gift boxes with a final collection count of 27,253 boxes. We wanted to express our gratitude on contributions from local Hong Kong school children, organizations and various charities who have helped making Box of Hope a successful CSR campaign.
Mr. Chan, deliveryman from Crown Logistics said: “I love my job, and I’ve seen many gift boxes that have unique drawings and paintings. This campaign has allowed me to help and support underprivileged people, especially children in the Hong Kong society”.
Box of Hope is an annual charity program aimed at helping underprivileged children throughout Asia. One of their aims is to encourage children from three to 18 years old to be aware of their environment and local community by packing educational and fun gifts for children in need.
