New Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport
At a recent gala hosted by the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT), Crown, Hong Kong, was acknowledged as organizational member and presented with a membership certificate.

This year's gala also marked the fortieth anniversary of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport in Hong Kong, which now has a membership base of about 2000. For this event, Crown Worldwide sponsored a table and invited some key staff members from the Hong Kong office.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) is the professional body for those engaged in various sectors of transport and logistics, including air, sea and land, for both passengers and freight movement. The Chartered Institute of Transport (CIT) was formed in the United Kingdom in 1919 as the Institute of Transport and became a Chartered Institute in 1926. The Institute first set up the Hong Kong Branch in 1968 and it was upgraded to the HK Section in 1972. The membership of CILTHK is now around 1,900 and broadly ranges from experienced senior managers to junior staff in the industries of shipping, logistics, airline, railway, road, public transport, government, educational institutes and consultancy.
