To ensure that our information systems keep pace with our services, we have invested heavily in technology. Crown’s client-customized, web-based, online tracking systems help manage third-party contractors, monitor shipments and timelines and provide Management Reports for analysis. Our global technology systems provide clients with full "cradle to grave" visibility of their shipments, allowing them to adjust their inventory schedules to better manage their supply chains and reduce their inventory carrying costs. Total Logistics Management
Crown Logistics has developed a "Total Logistics Management System" including duty free certificate processing and blanket import permit applications. Our Total Logistics Management approach ensures the timely delivery of all shipments, helps clients keep their importation processes on schedule and control costs.
Urgent Shipments and Expediting
Crown specializes in urgent shipments and expediting emergency shipments around the world. The system expedites critically urgent shipments beginning from pickup at the origin through to delivery at the final destination. It helps minimize down time and keeps projects running smoothly.
Dangerous Goods Cargo
Often the most difficult cargo to ship is DG (Dangerous Goods) cargo. It requires very special packaging, documentation, permits and handling. Crown is fully licensed to handle all types of dangerous goods and regularly ships oil and gas samples, dangerous chemicals and radioactive measuring devices.
Project Work & Special Contracts
Crown has held exclusive freight forwarding contracts for the Amoco Liuhua Fields, the ARCO Natural Gas Pipeline Project from Sanya to Hong Kong, the Phillips China Xijiang Field Development Project and others. Crown has recently handled core, oil and gas samples for ConocoPhillips, Chevron, Kerr-McGee, Oilphase and Corelab.
